The Transforming Power of God

One of the most important questions to be asked of any born again believer is simply this, now that you are saved have you been converted or transformed?  What is it about you that identifies you with Jesus?  Has transformation really taken place where it counts, in your heart?

There are six reasons why things go wrong once you are awakened to the true reason for your existence.  You should avoid them simply because if left unchecked these six things could cause you to miss God.

  1. Wrong Places
  2. Wrong People
  3. Wrong Words
  4. Wrong Thoughts
  5. Wrong Actions
  6. Wrong Results

Matthew 18:3 – You must be converted

Luke 22:31 – When you commit to serving the purpose of God the enemy takes notice.

Acts 28:27 – The condition of your heart, ears, and eyes determines your course of actions.

1)      Present Yourself to God – Romans 10:9-10

2)      Access the Power of God – Act’s 1:8

3)      Give Place to the Word of God – Psalms 119: 10-11

4)      Recognize the Authority of the Blood – Revelation 12:11

5)      Position Yourself for the Promises of God – Matthew 6:33

6)      Trust God and Stand on His Promises – Psalms 56:11

7)      Have the Faith to Go the Distance – Matthew 14: 22-25

The Bible tells us that there is a time for all things.

Ecc.3:1 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

When we study the World of God to see how life and death is viewed, we see that God’s view of life and death is entirely difference from mans view.  Why does God’s view of life and death differ from mans view?  Is it because man has yet to realize that true life and true death occurs in the Spiritual and not in the natural or physical?

Jerimiah 1:4 Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, 5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. 6 Then said I, Ah, Lord God! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child. 7 But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.

How do you and I arrive at the place where we step into that which God has ordained for our lives and begin to rule and reign as Christ in the earth.  I will submit unto you it will only come about when we die to the old nature, and transform into who we are created to be.

Phil. 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

  1. The first death that you and I must experience is the death of the flesh.

Purpose

The greatest tragedy in life is not death; the greatest tragedy in life is life without purpose.  It’s dangerous to be alive and not know why you were given life.

The deepest craving of the human spirit is to find a sense of significance and relevance.  The search for relevance in life is the ultimate pursuit of man.

  1. Kingdom Purpose is the only source of individual fulfillment.
  2. Kingdom Purpose is the master of motivation and the mother of commitment.
  3. Kingdom Purpose gives birth to hope and instills the passion to act.
  4. Existence has no meaning until Kingdom Purpose is discovered. Kingdom Purpose is the source of fulfillment.

 

What is your purpose?  Purpose is the original intent for the creation of someone or something.
